Internships
Practical hands-on experience is vital to a successful career in professional communications or graduate school. It's also a great way to focus your interests and apply what you're learning in classes. As a Communication Studies major, you must complete an internship. You will receive 3-4 academic credits for a successfully completed internship, which involves at least 100 hours of work along with some written assignments.
“I learned so much from my internship; it was an incredible opportunity! I gained firsthand experience working in a corporate environment and I was able to work on various tasks and projects to expand my skills.”
